I thought so too, at first. But he posted this on his blog (www.johnmayer.com/blog) along with the statement: "Really enjoying this song right now." I didn't quite catch the reference initially, but now it is obvious.

naw it's true... People Magazine interview, and that's not one of the tabloids. Plus, he's telling you not to believe that his album is very good even though it is.
No, you're wrong. I'll bet you on this one. How convenient that they both have new albums coming out within weeks and suddenly...their faces are everywhere. It is a hoax.
I mean, is People magazine fronting a bogus interview with her where she explains why this one is so much better than Nick because he makes her feel smart? Is your hero the type who would participate in a hoax in the name of hyping an excellent album? This isn't some "Turn me on dead man" McCartney hoax. It's a true, peaceful, and -- yes -- beautiful, relationship in its early stages. Pitter Patter.
I had posted mine before everyone else on the internet had...or atleast around the same time.
I think your idea that he is talking about his album is totally wrong. Why would he go around saying how good the new album is and then say "don't believe the hype" on his blog about it. You also gotta figure, if they are together and Jessica saw that he posted that....they won't be together much longer. I think this is all a way for the two of them to have their faces put everywhere. It is publicity.

How much do you want to bet?

I'll bet you three lashings.
read the People magazine interview with her then and try to reconcile it with what you're saying... doesn't make any sense....
those are me and I happily admit defeat, but I remain convinced that they will end up tickling the other's tushy in public before long.
